The reimagined Pokémon Rooms are available at 10 MIMARU apartment-style hotels across Greater Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, offering travelers a memorable place to stay during summer holidays, birthdays, or family getaways.

The rooms might be farther away than you planned on traveling this summer, but if Japan was already on your radar this year, these rooms might be the perfect landing spot for your family after long days of exploring.

Meet Your Bedtime Buddy

Each Pokémon Room features a giant Snorlax plush resting on the bed, a cozy and whimsical companion for kids and adults alike, perfect for cuddly photo ops and sweet dreams. The rooms are full of thematic immersion with Poke Ball-inspired furnishings, including tableware, linens, and dining tables designed to echo the iconic Pokémon universe that will make the Pokémon fans in your life excited for sleep every night.

And the fun doesn’t end when you set off towards home. Staying in one of these rooms also means you’ll take home limited-edition swag: a laundry bag, drawstring pouch, small pouch, and stickers for each group, which are perfect for collectors and fans of all ages.

Reservations for the Pokémon Rooms opened on April 21, 2025, and with rooms in high demand, early booking is recommended. The rooms officially reopen to guests on July 1, 2025, following the complete refurbishment.
