Josh Allen has touching moment with crying fan at Bills camp

Bills quarterback Josh Allen is showing leadership both on and off the field.

After finishing a long day at practice in Pittsford, N.Y., on Tuesday in blistering 88-degree heat, Allen decided to spend time with his fans to sign autographs.

In the wall of fans wanting a signature, a few servicemen and women were present. When Allen spotted this, he took off his hat and thanked each one for their service. He then signed some Bills items that they brought.

As he made his rounds signing autographs for many fans, Allen was ready to step away from the crowd.

That is when he noticed a young fan in tears after she thought that she missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime.

Allen, without any hesitation, doubled back and gave her a forever memory. The quarterback came over and hugged her, reassuring the fan that everything was ok. Allen signed the poster she brought.

At that point, he could have turned around and walked away. But according to Thad Brown of WROC TV, Allen went on to sign 30 more autographs.

Allen became a fan favorite in Buffalo since being drafted by the team in 2018. He led the Bills to the AFC Championship game last season, but they were beaten by the Chiefs, which denied Allen a chance to play in the Super Bowl for the first time.

It was the fourth time in five years the Bills were eliminated by the Chiefs in the playoffs.

The Bills open the season at home against the Ravens on Sept. 7 for “Sunday Night Football.”
